Welcome to Wednesday Morning School Art Class at Angel Dreams Studios.

Let’s explore watercolor!! Wet on wet watercolor is a fun technique where kids can blend colors by applying wet paint onto a wet surface, creating soft, flowing effects. It encourages creativity as the colors naturally mix and form interesting shapes on the paper.

At ADS we value kindness, the creative process and community. We believe that making art promotes many valuable life skills, such as critical and creative thinking, communication, receiving constructive feedback, collaboration, accountability, and fine motor skills, just to name a few.

Each 2 hour class will consist of a brief art history lesson, a presentation of technique, followed by a project inspired by the lesson. All supplies will be included, unless otherwise discussed in advance. Each week, prior to class, I will post the artist we will be discussing and an example of their work.

I ask that children under the age of 5, please have a parent stay to help them. The projects can be adjusted to accommodate all ages. Please bring a snack and a water bottle. For questions, please feel free to text or call me @ 608.350.9989
