Welcome to HomeSchool Art Class at Swim Reedsburg. This class is designed so students can drop in at anytime between 9:30 & 11:30 and have a brief art history lesson and create. Cost: $25/student/class

In this week’s class we will discuss the Art Jim Dine and his love for hearts! Jim Dine’s colorful and creative heart art is perfect for kids to explore and make their own exciting creations. Children can experiment with paints and collage to design vibrant hearts while learning about colors, patterns, and layering. This fun activity shows how a simple shape, like a heart, can become a unique work of art filled with personality and feelings.

At ADS we value kindness, the creative process and community. We believe that making art promotes many valuable life skills, such as critical and creative thinking, communication, receiving constructive feedback, collaboration, accountability, and fine motor skills, just to name a few.

Each 2 hour class will consist of a brief art history lesson, a presentation of technique, followed by a project inspired by the lesson. All supplies will be included, unless otherwise discussed in advance. Each week, prior to class,
the artist/project the will be discussed
and an example will be posted.

We ask that children under the age of 5, please have a parent stay to help them. The projects can be adjusted to accommodate all ages. Please bring a snack and a water bottle. For questions, please feel free to text or call me @ 608.350.9989
